Autumn Equinox - Find your balance yoga workshop with Stephanie Fitzpatrick
As day and night become the same length, how can we find that same balance in our lives as Autumn kicks in. We'll start with a short meditation and pranayama to help us to set intentions for the coming weeks, moving through to a Mandala flow (Moving 360º around the mat), finding stillness through grounding postures in yin yoga, then finally ending with a restorative yoga nidra. This workshop is open to all levels, every body is welcome.
Wear comfortable yoga clothing and a jumper as it can be getting chilly into the evenings, it would be a good idea to bring a blanket as will get very still in nidra. Matts available at the studio or feel free to bring your own.
Arrive anytime from 6pm to relax with a herbal tea and a homemade oaty treat.
Stephanie Fitzpatrick is a yoga therapist focussed on supporting women with symptoms of anxiety, stress and burnout, and a yoga teacher of vinyasa, mandala, yin, and yoga nidra. She is also a reiki healer! She is warm, light hearted and open with my clients and students and teaches a class with a strong focus on connecting the breath with movement whilst creating a safe and grounded space, making yoga accessible to all from beginners to the more experienced yogis. Having spent many years learning the benefits of yoga in her own body and mind through personal practice, she believes that there is an aspect of yoga that every person can benefit from both on and off the mat.
